Follow the Young, Bring it On!

울산국제아트페어는 재능있는 신진 작가들의 미술시장 진입을 돕고 지역 작가 활성화의 일환으로 매 해 신진작가 공모전을 진행하고 있습니다.

이번에 실시하는 UiAF ARTIST AWARDS 수상자 분들에게는 2025 울산국제아트페어 - 신진작가 특별전을 포함한 다양한 활동 기회가 주어집니다.

작가로서의 성장과 발판이 될 UiAF ARTIST AWARDS 작가님들의 많은 관심과 참여 부탁드립니다.

1. 지원 기간

- 2025. 02. 21(금) - 03. 20(목)

2. 지원 자격  

- 만 39세 이하 청년 작가

- 개인전 1회 이상, 단체전 2회 이상 

- 지역, 국적 무관

3. 지원 분야

- 회화(서양화, 한국화, 판화 등), 조각(입체), 미디어(사진, 영상)

4. 접수 방법

- 구글 폼 작성 후 제출  https://forms.gle/8oaKTWPPaRyJCz1R9

- 첨부 파일명 뒤에 이름 기재 

예시) 2025UiAF신진작가공모전_홍길동_작품명

5. 선정 방식 

- 심사위원 결과를 통하여 순위 선정 (선정자 발표 시 심사위원 명단 공개)

6. 심사 발표 

- 2025. 3. 31(월) 합격자 개별 연락

- 공식 홈페이지 및 인스타그램 공고

7. 시상금

- 1등 (금상) 100만원 1명

- 2등 (은상) 70만원 1명

- 3등 (동상) 30만원 1명

8. 수상 혜택

- 2025UiAF 신진작가 공모 - Young Artist Awards 특별전 전시

    전시기간 : 2025.06.05(목) - 06.08(일) 

    전시장소 : UECO 울산전시컨벤션센터

- 2025UiAF 도록 작가별 페이지(1P) 수록

- 운송 및 작품 설치, 철수 지원(선택)

* 타 작가와 비용차이가 많을 시 자부담금 발생

UiAF 2025 Calls for Rising Artists

The Ulsan International Art Fair holds an annual competition for rising artists to support their entry into the art market and promote local artists. 

Selected and award-winning artists will get various opportunities, including participation in the 2025 Ulsan International Art Fair – Rising Artist Special Exhibition.

We encourage many artists to take part in the UiAF Artist Awards, which will serve as a stepping stone for their growth and development as artists. 

1. Submission Period

- Friday, February 21, 2025. – Tursday, March 20, 2025.

2. Participation Criteria

- Young artists under the age of 39

- At least 1 solo exhibition and 2 group exhibitions

- No restrictions on region or nationality 

3. Submission Categories 

- Painting (Western or Korean Panting, Printmaking, etc.)

- Sculpture (Three-Dimensional Works)

- Media (Photography, Video)

4. Submission

- Fill out and submit UiAF Google Form https://forms.gle/8oaKTWPPaRyJCz1R9

- Include your name in the attached file’s title 

* Example: 2025UiAF_RisingArtistCompetition_NAME_ Title of the artwork

5. Selection Process

- A judging panel will evaluate the works and determine the rankings 

 *The list of judges will be disclosed when the winners are announced

6. Award Winner Announcements

- Monday, March 31, 2025

- All winners will be individually contacted  

- Results will be announced on the UiAF website and Instagram

7. Prize Money

- 1st place (Gold) - 1 person, 1,000,000 KRW 

- 2nd place (Silver) - 1 person, 700,000 KRW 

- 3rd place (Bronze) - 1 person, 300,000 KRW 

8. Benefits for Winners

- Exhibition at the 2025 UiAF Rising Artist Competition Young Artist Awards Special Exhibition 

   Exhibition Dates: Thursday, June 5, 2025 – Sunday, June 8, 2025

   Venue: UECO Ulsan Exhibition Convention Center

- Will be featured in the 2025 UiAF Art Collection Catalog (1 page per artist) 

- Support for transportation, installation, and removal of artworks (optional)

   *However, if there is a large cost difference, out-of-pocket expenses may occur.

- A featured article in NANT Magazine

- A special exhibition on the NANT ART platform

- Will be able to participate in other UiAF-related events and various promotional activities
